Aloe
Aloe (Aloe vera), also known as Aloe Vera, is a popular succulent prized for its medicinal properties and low-maintenance care. Its thick, fleshy leaves store water, making it highly drought-tolerant.
Light
Thrives in bright, indirect light.
Can tolerate some direct sunlight but prolonged exposure may cause sunburn.
Low light can lead to weak, leggy growth.
Watering
Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings.
Water deeply, but ensure proper drainage to prevent root rot.
Water less frequently in winter when growth slows.
Temperature
Ideal temperature: 65–80°F.
Can tolerate temperatures as low as 50°F but is not frost-hardy.
Keep away from cold drafts and extreme heat.
Fertilizing
Feed during the growing season (spring–summer) with a diluted, succulent-friendly fertilizer every 4–6 weeks.
Do not fertilize in fall and winter when growth slows.
