Croton

Light:

  • Thrives in bright, indirect light.

  • Direct sunlight enhances leaf color but avoid harsh midday sun, which can scorch leaves.

  • Low light can dull the vibrant foliage.

Watering:

  • Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.

  • Water when the top inch of soil feels dry.

  • Use a pot with good drainage to prevent root rot.

Temperature and Humidity:

  • Prefers temperatures between 65–80°F 

  • Avoid temperatures below 60°F 

Fertilizer:

  • Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer).

  • Reduce feeding in fall and winter.
