Light

  • Bright, indirect light.

  • Prefers filtered sunlight from an east- or west-facing window.

  • Can tolerate lower light but grows best with ample brightness.

Watering

  • Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry before watering.

  • Water thoroughly, allowing excess to drain—avoid soggy soil.

  • Reduce watering in fall and winter when growth slows.

Temperature

  • Ideal temperature: 65–80°F.

  • Cannot tolerate temperatures below 50°F.

  • Keep away from cold drafts, heaters, and air conditioners.

Fertilizing

  • Feed during the growing season (spring–summer).
