Pothos
Pothos (Epipremnum aureum), also known as Devil's Ivy, is a popular and hardy houseplant loved for its trailing vines and heart-shaped leaves. Varieties include Golden Pothos, Marble Queen, Neon Pothos, and Jade Pothos.
Light
Thrives in bright, indirect light.
Can tolerate low light but may lose variegation in dim conditions.
Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.
Watering
Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry out before watering.
Water thoroughly, letting excess water drain out—avoid soggy soil.
Can tolerate occasional underwatering but avoid overwatering.
Temperature
Ideal temperature: 65–85°F.
Sensitive to temperatures below 50°F.
Keep away from cold drafts, heaters, and air conditioning vents.
Fertilizing
Feed during the growing season (spring–summer) with a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer every 4–6 weeks.
Do not fertilize in fall and winter when growth slows.
