Stromanthe Tricolor (Stromanthe sanguinea), also known as Tricolor Prayer Plant, is a striking tropical plant known for its vibrant foliage featuring shades of green, cream, and pink. It adds a dramatic and colorful touch to indoor spaces.

Light

  • Prefers bright, indirect light.

  • Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves and fade colors.

  • Can tolerate low light but may lose some vibrancy in its foliage.

Watering

  • Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy.

  • Allow the top inch of soil to dry slightly before watering.

  • Increase humidity by misting or using a humidifier to prevent brown leaf edges.

Temperature

  • Ideal temperature: 65–80°F.

  • Sensitive to temperatures below 60°F.

  • Protect from cold drafts, heaters, and air conditioning vents.

Fertilizing

  • Feed during the growing season (spring–summer) with a diluted, balanced liquid fertilizer every 4–6 weeks.

  • Do not fertilize in fall and winter when growth slows.
